Bateria

Bateria: A General term for all the musical instruments in the roda. The full Capoeira Bateria is assembled of the following musical instruments: Berimbau, Pandeiro, Atabaque, Agogo and Reco-reco. In each group and for each style there is a diffrent order of the instruments. for example, Mestre Bimba used to play with one Berimbau and two Pandeiros. The Capoeira Angola Bateria is usually contains three Berimbaus, one Pandeiro, one Atabaque, one Agogo and one Reco-reco.

The order of the instruments and of course the rhythm played is also changes from group to group.
