Patuá: An amulet widely used by people linked to Candomblé. the amulet is made of a small piece of tissue in the color corresponding to the Orixá, which is embroidered the name of the Orixá and placed a particular preparation of herbs and other substances assigned to each Orixá. People wore patuá for luck and protection. Some other tradition say that person need to wear his Patua the have “Corpo Fechado”
