Faca de tucum

Faca de tucum – A knife made by a wood called Tucum. According to the Candomble tradition only this knife can harm and kill person with “Corpo fechado”. According the legend Besouro Magangá was killed with this kind of knife.

The Tucum wood is also used to make Baquetas to play the Berimbau.
